Disclaimer: AKAL Safe Drive LLC is a registered limited liability company in the UAE. Use of our services is subject to these Terms and Conditions. These T&Cs define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of all parties in accordance with UAE laws.
By booking or using our safe driver services, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
AKAL Safe Drive LLC provides professional drivers ("Drivers") to operate your own vehicle on your behalf for transportation within the UAE. Drivers' duties are limited to safe, lawful driving from the designated pickup point to the destination.
Bookings: Services are confirmed only once the booking is accepted and scheduled by AKAL Safe Drive LLC.
Cancellations: Clients must notify cancellations as early as possible. Cancellations after the Driver arrives at the pickup location may incur full service fees.
Charges: Service fees are as agreed at the time of booking. Additional waiting times, special requests, or extended services may incur extra charges.
Clients confirm that:
Rental Vehicles: If the vehicle is a rental car, the Client is solely responsible for confirming that the rental agreement and its insurance policy permit an additional or named driver. AKAL Safe Drive LLC accepts no liability for any denial, reduction, or invalidation of insurance coverage resulting from the vehicle being a rental car without appropriate additional-driver coverage.
Clients must not provide misleading information or withhold facts that could affect the Driver's ability to perform services safely. Failure to comply may result in service refusal or termination without refund.
Drivers will follow UAE traffic laws and use safe driving practices at all times. Drivers may refuse or stop service if they reasonably believe the client, passengers, or circumstances pose a safety risk. Smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances are strictly prohibited in the vehicle during service.
Primary Coverage: In case of accidents, the vehicle owner's insurance shall be used first to cover damages or liabilities.
Driver-Caused Fines: If an accident occurs and is proven to be caused by the Driver's negligence, AKAL Safe Drive LLC will only be responsible for any traffic fines or penalties issued by UAE authorities directly resulting from the Driver's actions.
Exclusions: AKAL Safe Drive LLC will not be responsible for:
Documentation Required: Any claim or dispute must be supported by valid insurance documents, RTA records, and police reports. Claims submitted without these will not be accepted.
AKAL Safe Drive LLC is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property inside the vehicle. AKAL Safe Drive LLC is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including but not limited to missed appointments, loss of business, or personal injuries, beyond what is insured and directly caused by the Driver's proven fault.
In the event of minor scratches, dents, or other cosmetic damage including but not limited to parking, tyres, low-impact incidents, the client may choose not to claim insurance. If the client chooses not to use insurance:
Traffic fines or penalties arising directly from the Driver's negligence will be reimbursed by AKAL Safe Drive LLC. Fines or penalties caused by the client, passengers, incorrect information, or vehicle non-compliance remain the client's responsibility.
Clients must ensure the vehicle and passengers do not endanger the Driver. Drivers may refuse or terminate service immediately if any behaviour or circumstance poses a threat to the safety of the Driver, passengers, or third parties.
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, AKAL Safe Drive LLC's total liability is limited to direct fines issued by authorities and does not extend to repair costs, insurance penalties, or indirect losses.
AKAL Safe Drive LLC is not liable for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions due to traffic, weather, mechanical failure not caused by the Driver, or other events beyond reasonable control.
Claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of the service or incident to be considered valid.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively under UAE jurisdiction.
